Meet the monochromatic version of our classic Allpa 42L Travel Pack. In addition to being made from 100% leftover black fabrics, this Allpa 42L is newly redesigned, reflecting our quest for pack perfection. While all the customer-favorite features of our bestselling Allpas remain, we’ve made a few game-changing updates.

New features include better weight distribution and air mesh shoulder straps for an ultra-comfortable carry, an exterior stretch water bottle pocket, and a luggage pass-through strap that easily slides over the handle of a roller bag (like our Allpa Roller Bags).

Identical to our standard Allpa 42L Travel Pack in features and function, this Del Día version uses high-quality deadstock fabric that might have otherwise ended up in the landfill, making each pack one-of-a-kind.

"I absolutely love the Allpa 42L Travel Pack – Del Día Dark! I'm usually an overpacker and have always struggled to find one bag that could hold everything I need for trips lasting two weeks or less. This backpack completely changed that for me. I put it to the test as soon as it arrived on a marine science backpacking trip through Florida and along the Gulf Coast. I was able to pack 12 days' worth of clothes, field gear, toiletries, and other essentials with room to spare. The compartments are incredibly spacious and make it easy to stay organized, and the zippers are some of the sturdiest I've ever used. The bag feels well-built and durable enough to handle frequent travel and outdoor adventures. My only disappointment is that the matching fanny packs were sold out when I purchased my travel pack. Overall, I highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a durable, organized, and surprisingly roomy travel bag. It's made packing so much easier, especially for longer trips where you want to travel with just one bag."

Great for travel

"Took on a 2 week trip to europe, enough space for 8 outfits, a rain jacket, a denim jacket, a neckpillow and more- had extra room for souvenirs too! Definitely pack weight low for most comfort per normal backpacking- the proper hip straps are a plus. United airlines had no issue with it as a carry on and was nice having lock loops on zippers for walking around city and trains."

Great pack

"Bought this pack for a friend a few months back as a birthday gift. She finally got to use it on a work trip and she said it worked great for all her things. She noticed when she packed it, it had a slice in the back pack. Other than that, she said the pack worked extremely well and was happy with it. Would have giving 5 stars, but since it had a cut in it I gave it 3. Attention to detail is huge especially when you’re spending so much for a pack."

"Absolutely love. I’ll admit I was skeptical about the price at first, I travel alot both for work and in my personal life so I wanted something durable. I’ve gone through a few backpacks where I’ve had to sew pockets back together. But this one is made from the most durable fabric. Its cute but not overly flashy and I bought the organizers as well which changed how I pack. Better organized, more room, less damage. Love it!"

"I recently returned my weather stripped 1st gen Allpa for repairs, and was pleasantly surprised that Cotopaxi sent a gift card to cover the purchase of a new bag in lieu of repairs. This bag improves on almost everything the original provided. Great pocket design, sturdy zippers on all compartments, and a few extra handles for awkward travel angles. Can’t wait to take it on its first trip!"

Great Product!

"Great product, perfect design, strategic organization but doesn't overdo it with pockets and sleeves you don't need. Well made, zippers that glide smooth and close firmly, thoughtful design elements and such cool colors. I love this bag, I originally ordered the 42L Del Dia Dark but honestly it was just more space then I needed. I did a test and fit 3 shoes, 10 shirts, 4 pants, several pairs of socks and all my tech and I still had a ton of room. For me, I just decided it was to much space so I returned for a smaller version (the 35L) and that is much more manageable for me. Customer service is great!"
