"The vest color, size (s) and fit (above the waist) are great, but the bottom of the vest is way too narrow for woman with hips >27” leaving me to assume this was designed by a man, for a man, and then female sizing was slapped on. I wear 27” jeans (AG, R&B) and I find this vest JUST fits me in the hips but it isn’t comfortable. Anyone with hips will be out of luck. I have several vests by other brands; my favorite being Arcteryx. No hip-sizing issues with any other brands. I’m keeping it because I love the color and warmth (not my first Cotopaxi), but buyer beware. I’m 5’6”, have swimmers shoulders, wear an 8 blazer in both Brooks Brothers and Hobbs. Do better Cotopaxi. You’re not catering to the female body!"

"Hey Cotopaxi! I love your jackets so much and I have been wearing them for years now. . . bandaids, duct tape, ZIP Flashing tape and all. I finally treated myself to a new jacket and a vest a few weeks ago and I ordered them in a size small, which is what I have always worn from your company. But I am swimming in them. Have others given you the same feed back regarding the sizing? Also, my vest came with a strange grease stain on it. Just wanted to let you know. -Best, Melanie Hall"
"Luv my Capa vest!! The fit was perfect. After reading the reviews I went with the medium. The vest is slightly smaller through the hips. Perfect for layering under a coat for winter . Quality and material awesome. I have just worn it once and luv it already."
