Our iconic down jacket now features a 100% recycled DWR-finished shell and the same responsibly sourced 800-fill down you know and love. With an improved fit, this jacket is one you’ll never want to take off. Fuego is the jacket we turn to year-round, from summer camping to winter wandering.

New Boxy Shape Fits the Bust Weird

"I ordered a medium because that is my usual puffer size but the medium seemed a little too big. So I ordered a small and it fit perfectly, except in the chest area. Not a great cut if you’re larger breasted, as the small feels really restrictive around the chest and under the armpits. Guess I’ll stick with the medium but unfortunately can’t return the small now. If you’re larger breasted I would say to size up, even if the medium is a little looser."

New Fit Runs Large

"I had an older version of Fuego jacket and as somebody who is 5 foot 4 and wears an extra small the old fit was ideal. I ordered a new jacket because I love the colors and I have decided to keep it, but the new longer fit looks bulky on my body type. You may want to consider making a petite version as well."

Perfect Down Jacket

"Love this jacket! It's warm and light. Perfect for hiking and travel. I am 5' 1" and 150lb (I am pretty athletic and carry a lot of muscle) so I was torn between the small and medium. I had read from the reviews that the new fit runs a little bigger so I ended up going with the small which fit perfectly! I had tried other brands like North Face & Patagonia but both just didn't fit my body type--they were either too small or too big."

"I am always cold. I bought the jacket for our trip to Iceland but started wearing it immediately! When I tried it on, I started getting warm immediately. It is soft and so so warm! It is super cute and totally worth what I paid for. Thank you Cotopaxi!"

Disappointed

"I bought this jacket because I was headed on a trip to Peru and would be spending time in the mountains. I knew it would be on the somewhat lighter side, but I'm very disappointed to see that its paper thin. The jacket is advertised as being versatile for year round but I dont think it would keep me warm on even a colder fall evening, let alone winter. Down was coming out of the jacket since the day I got it. I was hoping this would stop but I've had the jacket for several weeks now and its still coming out. The colors are nice and I went for it because it was on sale but I dont think its even worth the sale price. In regards to sizing, I'm 5'8", about 145 pounds and ordered a medium and it's quite large on me. This isnt a huge deal since it allows space to layer underneath but I would downsize if you do still decide to buy this jacket."

I got to choose the new color and opted for a smaller size. It fits great and the colors are on point.
