"Recently got diagnosed with a skin disorder which was hard to swallow as I am an outside kind of girl. I ordered this for protection and it lived up to the hype. I live In west Texas where the temps can get hot, I wore this and never felt over heated and felt protected from the sun. If you're on the fence, order it. You won't be disappointed. I'm a true large and ordered and XL for layering purposes which worked out just fine."

"I love this Sombra Sun Hoodie. I was looking for something that would protect my skin and not be too hot. I used my new purchase to ride my bike 25 miles, on a mostly sun exposed trail. I never felt any weight from the shirt. It felt comfortable and light. I would definitely recommend and buy another one!"

"Love the simpler color pairings and the lighter colors-best for staying cool. The fit works best with higher waist leggings or pants. Hood is comfy. Fabric is comfortable, but can snag a bit on rough hands, and is not as breathable as expected. I run cold, and felt warm in this pretty instantly. Would reach for it more in shoulder season than in the high heat of summer. Overall, happy to have it in my rotation!"

"Cute, bright colors, nice lightweight fabric, I bought a medium and it fits this 5'9 145 lb. girl great. I am nervous it will pill or snag as it feels very delicate, fingers crossed it holds up to backpacking. It would ideal if they would send these surveys a month after you have owned the product to really test it out."

"This is my new favorite sun shirt/hoodie. It is lightweight and will be perfect for a sunny day on the kayak. I am 5’2” and 105 pounds. I ordered the XS and it fits perfectly. Unlike a skin tight sun shirt this is roomy but not too large. It has a shorter fit which looks great with shorts or a swimsuit."

My favorite sun hoodie

"I bought several sun shifts for a hiking trip to Yosemite last year and this was my favorite one! I wore it hiking, backpacking, wild swimming. It is cool, dries quickly and has great coverage. The only thing I would improve is a little extra length in the back so it covers when you’re active and bending over etc. This new color (aster) is SO pretty an I got one for me and one for my sis!"

Great running shirt

"I was looking for a running shirt that stayed cool on hot days. I generally stay away from polyester and go for wool shirts, because of the smell. But, I needed something that was quick dry so I could bring on a canoe trip. Luckily, this shirt is great because it stays cool, has full sun protection, and some tech that reduces smell, so can be warn for a few days on a canoe/camping trip, similar to that of a wool shirt. I also appreciate the extra zip pocket since some of my running spandex pants do not have a pocket to keep a key safe!"
