Amazing bag, love it to bits

"I’ve been needing to replace an old messenger bag for years and after getting a Cotopaxi fanny pack, decided to give one of their bags a try. And I love it! The eclectic del dia colours are so fun, and the bag itself is spacious without being bulky. The inner pocket in the main compartment that fits a water bottle (keeping it upright) is absolutely genius. I like that it can convert to be work like a backpack rather than shoulder bag too. My only nitpick is I wish the shoulder strap could be made to be a smidge longer, so the bag would sit more on my hips than my waist, but that’s not a huge problem and I foresee may a fun adventures with this bag on my side."

The perfect travel day bag

"I packed this bag for a recent 16-day trip to Japan and South Korea. I knew I would need to carry some things on a daily basis: extra socks (for all the times I had to take off my shoes), rain gear (packable rain coat and umbrella), sunglasses, water bottle, wallet and passport, a few light snacks, and still have a bit of room for a souvenir or two along the way. And I didn't want a bulky backpack or a hip/fanny pack. I really wanted something I could carry as a tote or a crossbody. This bag was PERFECT. I was able to be hands free every day on the trip with this bag comfortably resting crossbody. Half the time, it didn't even feel like I was carrying anything. It was just the right size for what I needed, and it is now going to be my day bag every time I travel. Bonus - it got wet, a LOT, and it kept all my stuff dry. Between this and my orange Refugio backpack, I'm one happy traveler."

Great versatile bag!

"I love the conversible Taal bag. I replaced a beloved Ellington convertible bag that I've had for almost 20 years with this one, and it's been a great fit. The convertible straps are pretty quick to change from satchel to backpack, and I like that they stay in place once you set them (my Ellington converted a little faster than this one, but the straps didn't lock in place, so that was sometimes annoying). I'm tall (5'11") and the backpack straps are comfortably long for me. I love that the Taal has a water bottle pocket on the inside because I always carry one with me and I hate when they fall out of outside pockets or tip over inside pouches. There's a pocket inside that works well for an ipad, notebook or book, keeping it upright and out of the fray of an extra layer, the water bottle, and whatever other things I have in there. The colors are great too. I found one with darker straps in hopes they won't show wear as quickly as lighter colors might. Overall, very happy with my purchase!"
