Description

We redesigned the customer favorite Tasra to better open and organize for everyday carry to school, office, or around town. Based on customer feedback, we updated the clam-shell zipper opening to a traditional top zipper to make room for two mesh water bottle pockets, and added a 13” padded laptop sleeve to keep your tech safe in transit. Plus, we kept some OG favorite features like spacious main compartments and a variety of smaller organizational pockets to keep everything protected and comfortable on your commute.

Love Cotopaxi, this bag just wasn’t a fit for me this time

"I absolutely love Cotopaxi products and have been really happy with everything I’ve purchased, including the Todo 8L Sling and the Nido Accessory Bag. I also own a Tasra 16L Del Día from 2020, and that’s where my comparison comes from. Unfortunately, I’m a much bigger fan of the older Tasra design. The 2020 version had a clamshell opening with multiple interior zippered compartments, which made it perfect as both a travel bag and a daypack. I could pack it like a carry-on for flights, then unpack it and use it for hiking or exploring once I arrived. The redesigned Tasra feels more like a traditional school backpack or half-day pack. The tighter opening and different zipper style make it less versatile for the type of travel I do. It’s still well-made, just not what I was hoping for based on the previous version. I’ll be returning this one and exchanging it for the Allpa 28L, which I think will better fit my travel needs. If you never owned the original Tasra, you may love this redesign, but if you’re expecting the functionality of the older model, it’s quite different. Overall, I’m still a big Cotopaxi fan, this one just wasn’t the right fit for me."
