"I like the look and color of the backpack, seams and zippers are well sewn. Two favorite features are that the waist belt can tuck in nicely when not in use and the water bottle holder that is not only stretchy but deep enough that my yeti water bottle is very secure . (With my old backpack my water bottle fell out of the slot and tumbled down from the top of the escalator in a crowded airport). Have not traveled with the backpack yet. Leaving for Portugal in two days"

"This is truly the perfect pack! Very comfortable to travel with, fits under airplane seats, and holds everything. I bought this for a week-long trip to Guatemala and it fit everything I needed. "The Cotopaxi Allpa comes in a few different sizes. The 35L looks quite bulky, so I went with the 28L. However, because of its clamshell suitcase design, a 30L to 32L version would really hit the sweet spot and be the ultimate size for a three-day trip. Because of that missing middle ground, I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars."

"Overall, I really love it—the design, the colors, and everything! I just have two suggestions for improvement. First, could the zippers be designed to be a bit smoother? Second, if it could add a feature at the shoulder strap area to convert it into a fully enclosed travel pack (with a cover/flap to tuck away the straps), it would be much easier to check in as luggage."

"Whilst I love the concept of this bag I have found that the exterior material scuffs quite easily on the black version. Other than this it is a great quality bag and to be fair the sales assistant was very upfront about this fact but these are just aesthetics. The actual quality cannot be faulted. Perhaps consider a different colour and not the waterproof material"

Fantastic personal item reviewing for 20 and 28 L

"This review is for both alpa 20 L and 28 L. I bought the 28 for my husband and 20 for me They are outstanding. We will be going to the galapagos in nov for 12 days and this will be perfect companion for the roller carry on. Both open flat and fit a lot of stuff I did some experimenting and the 20L i could put 7 light t shirts 2 light shorts, one bermuda jeans, one hiking pants, my flat iron and one hiking sandals The 28 will fit more stuff I will keep them light because we will have a roller bag carry on too. Both have water bottle holder, the 28 has more compartments like a big padded compartment for laptop and ipad Adding pictures side by side. For perspective i am 5. 2” and about 125. You can see the 28l and the 20 L in my back"

Dreams come true

"My high school friend was with me, and when our sweet lady came to help us, she asked me why I was looking at this backpack in particular. (I had 3 on the table and ended up getting all 3!). My friend who was with me saw my eyes well up, and me getting choked up, and she said do you want me to tell her? She did. This backpack represents way more than a package to throw around and stuff a bunch of clothes and gear into. It symbolizes a huge struggle and the breakthrough that is here now, coming and for building much bigger things. When we got back home, I half-jokingly said I want to build a little shelf to hang the bags on my wall so that I see them everyday and don’t forget my dreams. So far, the bigger of the two bags has been on a car trip to a wedding with me this past weekend. It is getting prepped for its first airplane ride, filled up, next week. These bags represent dreams, confidence, and freedoms. I am beyond thrilled."
