"Either the cut or the material could use some refinement. I purchased this piece (as well as the bottoms) as a cold-weather compression layer, and the material is well suited. However, due to the cut, it only feels like a compression top in certain areas. The sleeves, for example, are a bit long. I'd say either make the fit more streamlined, or change the material to suit the cut. Also, the zipper needs to be way more thought out. It's as if somebody just took the crew version of this piece, cut it down the middle, and stitched a fabric store zipper directly on with no additional padding. The zipper teeth lie directly against the skin. It's not entirely comfortable, and if you have chest hair of any kind you have to be extremely careful not to get pinched when zipping and unzipping. I also think the neck is half an inch too tall, but that may just be personal preference."

"Wanted a qrt zip base to use instead of my UA mock neck. Material is comfortable against the skin. Stayed warm when I was wet from sweat and dried out quicker than I expected when not working hard gaining elevation. Would have given for stars if it weren't for the weird feel in certain sections. Example. The blue and orange . The orange sections (arms chest) feel different. A little tighter. I expected those spots to end up tugging and pulling the sleeve up. 20 miles and 11 hours it didn't happen. Very happy with the shirt and brand in general. I paired this with a Cotopaxi full zip mid jacket. Excellent combo. I usually have to get an XLT or. XXL. The XL on both items fits me great. I am 6'1 230lbs with kinda wide shoulders and longer than avg arms for my height. I buy these clothes to use in the back country not the mall. Very impressed so far with Cotopaxi. For comparison. In RAB I need a XXL and still doesn't fit as well as Cotopaxi XL. In UA and Eddie Bauer I wear an XLT"
